All deposit and rental monies are deposited into a trust account according to the requirements of the BC ministry of the Solicitor General.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes
SEASONS & BOOKING PERIOD
• High Season - June 15 to September 15
• Shoulder Season - March 1 to June 14, September 16 to Oct 31, plus Christmas & New Years, Thanksgiving US & Canada & Easter Break.
• Low Season - November 1 to December 21, January 5 to February 28
• Low Season Monthly rates are available, please inquire
• Two night minimum for vacation homes & cottages in shoulder and low seasons
• Four night minimum for vacation homes & cottages in high season
• Three night minimum on long weekends in shoulder and low seasons
CHECK-IN
• Check-in at the Amazing Vacation Homes Sooke office between 4.00 to 5.00pm or by previous arrangement
CHECK-OUT
• 10:00 am from Vacation Homes & Cottages, unless otherwise arranged.
POLICIES TO BE AWARE OF
• Vacation Homes pricing is based on 4 guests, $25 Cdn. per additional guest per night, children under 10 free.
* Vacation Cottages pricing is based on 2 guests, $25 Cdn. per additional guest per night, children under 10 free.
• No smoking indoors; smoking allowed on decks, gardens and beaches
• A $500 CAN, $320 US security deposit imprint is required for all properties. $750 Can. for weddings.
• Although we allow children on our properties, this does not mean the properties are without risk to children (ie: Rough waves and high bank waterfront properties, etc.)
TAXES
• 5% GST plus 8% PST (Accommodation Tax) on Vacation Homes & Cottages
CLEANING FEES
• $150.00 Cdn. cleaning fee for all vacation homes
• $100.00 Cdn. cleaning fee for all vacation cottages
• For stays longer than one week in vacation homes a flat fee of $150 per week will be required for weekly cleanings. $100 flat fee for cottages
CANCELLATION POLICY
• 45 days before arrival date
• Cancellation Insurance available. Call for details
• Travel Insurance available. Call for details
DEPOSIT
• 50% of your total rental price will be processed as your reservation deposit.
•Balance due 45 days before arrival date
PENALTIES
• Sufficient notice of 45 days
- Full refund less $100 administration fee
• Less than 45 days notice for
– Loss of deposit and balance
• No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures
WE HAVE PET FREINDLY HOMES
• Minimum pet fee charge $10.00 per day, maximum $50.00 Cdn.
The Pets Can Stay Standard designation requires that the establishment has met the following mandatory certification criteria:
- Equal Service - The establishment accepts pets, and welcomes pet-toting travelers with the same level of service and hospitality as would be offered to guests without pets.
- No Arbitrary Pet Fees - Any additional fees charged to guests traveling with pets, reflect the extra cleaning costs or maintenance expenses the lodging incurs for accepting pets, and do not represent a financial penalty to the pet owner for simply bringing an animal to the premises.
- Acceptable Accommodation and Non-Smoking Options - Not withstanding federal, state/provincial and local health regulations and other related codes, guests and/or their pets are not designated to any substandard accommodation or facility in the establishment (e.g. requiring the pet to stay in a garage, storage room, outdoors, in the owner‘s vehicle, etc.). The establishment has smoking and non-smoking pet-designated units available (unless it is a fully non-smoking establishment). All pet-designated rooms are kept in good, clean condition and are devoid of unpleasant odors (e.g. heavy smoke).
- Fair Kenneling Policies - The establishment does not enforce kenneling of pets at all times during the stay (i.e. even when in the guest room with their owners in attendance). Pets are allowed outside of their kennel once in room while in the presence of their owners. Acceptable policies include:
- Pets must be kenneled or leashed at all times when in public areas of the establishment. Pets must be kenneled if left unattended in room.

- Safe Environment - Pet-designated common areas and pet designated rooms within the establishment are free of objects or substances that present a danger to pets (e.g. easily accessible chocolate, nuts, cleaners, etc.).
- Pet Policies Available Upon Request - The establishment can provide clearly written documentation, upon request, outlining all of its pet-related policies that are in effect (e.g. leash policy, pet in room policy, etc).
- Food/Water Bowls - The establishment can, upon request, provide a drinking/food receptacle (e.g. dish, bowl, bucket, etc) to pet guests.
- Licensed Accommodation Provider - The establishment is licensed and accredited, in the region in which it operates, to provide travel accommodations.
