The Guest House

Many skylights and natural light pours into this home allowing for a bright and airy feeling, an ideal fresh coastal holiday home. The use of local wood throughout the house, floors, doors and ceilings make this custom home warm and cozy with a west coast feel. Approved with Tourism BC and Canada Select, this home is nothing shy of being spectacular.

The upper level of this luxury home is combined with a full commercial style kitchen with six burner gas cook top, convection oven and microwave, fridge/freezer with water, dishwasher, and handsink. This home consists of a very large living room with vaulted 30ft ceilings. There are patio doors that lead you out to the upper ocean view deck.

The living room’s leather furniture and ocean views allows the guests who stay here to enjoy a relaxing, comforting holiday. Large open spaces throughout the upper floor of this newly built home alllow for weddings, reunions and retreats.

The Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub. A second bedroom is also on the upper level with a separate bathroom featuring a rain head shower.

The large yard boasts mature gardens and a hillside hot tub for 8 that overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains.

The lower level of this home consists of 1 main bedroom with a triple bunk, with the great room offering a second triple bunk – as well as a double pull-out leather sofabed. This is ideal for families of all ages and sizes. There is 1 bathroom and a full kitchen – ideal for large party functions.

About Craidelonna Cottage

750 square foot cabin sits on the very edge of Vancouver Island, from its upper bedroom balcony guests can hear the pounding surf and feel & smell the wonderful ocean breeze.

Cozy up around the beach stone wood burning fireplace located in the lower cabin space, or retreat to your own private hot tub located on the outside deck.

This cottage has a complete kitchen with oven/stove and fridge that allows guests to remain “home” for the evening to cook the local catch of the day.

An outside BBQ station and eating area provides choice for inside or outside dining.

For those not wishing to cook, an excellent selection of local Sooke restaurants are available nearby.

The upper loft of the cottage contains a cozy new queen size bed, while in the downstairs living space there is a fold out comfortable double futon couch, allowing for 2-4 guests to sleep.

With large windows for viewing of ocean & mountains this space is bright and cheerful, with the addition of a skylight in the upper bedroom.

Amid the bounty of nature that surrounds this unique vacation home you could be watching Bald Eagles, spotting Orcas off your deck or enjoying the deer that roam in this property of 11 very private acres. This vacation home has lots of living space.

If you are a fan of outdoor recreation be sure to bring your mountain bike along with your hiking boots. In addition to the East Sooke Park trails, world class mountain biking trails are easily accessible from your Eagle Crest vacation rental home. The one-of-a-kind architect designed log home features a magnificent three story brick fireplace, a relaxing sunroom, mudroom and much, much, more! The main floor Great room forms the heart of the home with three 55 foot Douglas fir continuous beams suspended across the apex of the structure. About Gordon Suite

Located in sunny Saseenos, this charming one-bedroom suite is perfect for a more village-oriented holiday. Ride your bike to local shops and restaurants, travel on the Galloping Goose Trail, go zip-lining at Adrenaline, try kayaking at Rush adventures, watch whales with Sooke Coastal Explorations, or fish for supper on a salmon charter boat. Best of all, if you are a diver or curious about diving, talk to your host Stu Gordon. The Gordon Suite is above Scuba Stu’s dive shop.

After a day of activity, come home to the comfort of the Gordon Suite with its big furniture, gas fireplace, in-house laundry facilities, four-poster bed, and views one rSooke Harbour and forested East Sooke . The courtyard between the shop and the main house with its fountain, barbeque, and outdoor patio furniture is also available for use by guests.

The Gordon Suite sleeps two comfortably. It is 5 minutes by car to the Sooke village core, and 35 minutes to downtown Victoria the capital city of the province. It is important to note that the Gordon Suite is located within easy walking distance of local transit.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized four poster bed, with french doors opening to a small deck
